Chief
Deacon Richard Chibuna Anyanwu was born in Umueze-Chokoneze, in
Imo State, Nigeria. After moving to the United States, he
attended and graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School in
Washington D.C. He later relocated to the Monterey Peninsula
where he attended and graduated from Monterey Peninsula College. After college,
Chief Deacon Anyanwu joined the United States Army where he
graduated from the Army Academy of Health Sciences, Fort Sam
Houston, Texas. Chief Deacon Richard Anyanwu works as a
Registered Nurse at Community Hospital of the Monterey
Peninsula's (CHOMP) Westland House in Monterey, California.
He is an ordained Baptist Deacon by Pastor Raymond Martin
of the Holy Assembly Missionary Baptist Church in Marina,
California.
Chief Deacon Anyanwu is also a crowned Tribal Chief of Umueze in Imo
State, Nigeria by his Royal Highness Eze Dr. Jonathan Anyanwu
and the Umueze people. Chief Deacon Anyanwu is married to Lolo
Gertrude Adanma Anyanwu and they have five children: Ikemba,
Odiri, Chika, Ozioma, and Ogechi. Lolo Gertrude Adanma Anyanwu
is a trained Registered Nurse in Nigeria and works as a nurse in
Monterey, California. She is also a deaconess at Holy Assembly
Missionary Baptist Church, Marina, California.

Dr. Moses Chinedum
Dike
Medical Director, Nigeria
Dr.
Moses Chinedum Dike was born in Itu Ezinihitte Mbaise
in Imo
State, Nigeria on April 20, 1952.
After his secondary education he proceeded to do his High
School study at Govt. College Afiko. He Attended and graduated
from the University of Ibadan where he bagged his MBBS in 1982.
He did his Housemanship from July 1982, to July 1983 at Queen
Elizabeth Specialist Hospital Umuahia. After this, he served his
country Nigeria as a Youth Corper under the NYSC Scheme from
July 1983 to July 1984.
He is very much interested in church matters and that was why in
1992 he was initiated into the Ancient Noble Order of Knights of
St. John International, which is a Roman Catholic Order of the
Knights. He is active Rotarian and in 1995/96 Rotary year, he
was decorated and installed as the Rotarian President for the
Rotary Club - Umuahia Central. He is also a one star Paul Harris
fellow. He has also served his hometown as the first medical
doctor in his village. He is involved in voluntary community
health services for which he was rewarded with a Chieftancy
title by he Eze, the Oforire .I. of Itu Mbaise, Imo State
Nigeria. He is also involved in immunization program as Rotarian
Director of Medical Services i Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He
is the Medical Director of Priscilla Memorial Hospital Umuahia,
Abia State, Nigeria. He is married to lady Stella Adaku Dike and
is blessed with four children.

Chief Clement
Asinaobi Anyanwu
On-Site Project Manager - Nigeria

Chief
Clement Asinaobi Anyanwu was born in 1958. He is a businessman
by profession. He is also a civil engineer specializing in
building apartments, residential homes, landscaping, boreholes,
etc. He is married to Lolo Elizabeth Anyanwu and together they
are blessed with five children.
Chief Clement
Anyanwu also serves as Chief of Security for the MAHAFA (Formerly known as AfricareMeds)
medical staff during each visit to Nigeria. He is responsible
for all logistics in Nigeria (transportation, food, lodging,
volunteers and workers, supplies, etc.) Chief Clement's
responsibilities and duties is instrumental in the overall
success of MAHAFA (Formerly known as AfricareMeds) projects in Nigeria.

Elder Gregory Charles Smith
Board Member
Gregory
Charles Smith was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he
received his formal education, attended and graduated from
Southern University Laboratory High School and later enrolled in
Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing in
December of 1975. He received his calling into the gospel
ministry of Jesus Christ in April 1989 and later was ordained as
an associate minister of The Holy Assembly Missionary Baptist
Church of Marina, California under the leadership of of Pastor
Raymond Martin. In October 2004, he enrolled in Faith Seminary
located in Tacoma, Washington where he received his Master's
degree in Theology on October 6, 2006. Elder Gregory Smith is
married to his college sweetheart, Dianne Marie Jackson Smith.
Their only son, Gregory Rashaun Smith and his wife Sherri
blessed the family with their first grandson, Elias Rashaun
Smith. Upon counting my blessings I want to thank God for the
honor and privilege of serving him by way of the MAHAFA (Formerly known as AfricareMeds)
organization as we endeavor to improve the quality of life of
those less fortunate and worship and serve God by serving his
people.

Dr. Victor Okey Dike
Board Member
Dr. Victor Okey Dike was born in Umuafor Itu in Ezinihitte
Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state, Nigeria. He attended
Cental school itu, Okpofe secondary school, and Mbaise Boys
Secondary school in Imo state for his senior school certificate,
where he performed creditably in 1997.
He
then proceeded to Federal Polytechnic Nekede in Imo state where
he bagged National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering in 2000. Afterwards, he entered the University of
Calabar medical school, Calabar Nigeria, where he bagged his
MBBCH in 2008 following a brilliant performance, and latter the
Federal Medical Center for his internship.
While in school, he held several leadership positions in social,
cultural and religious spheres, including serving as the
president of the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental
students (FECAMDS, UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR CHAPTER), during which
he organized several free medical programs for rural
communities, less privileged homes and prisons in 2006,aimed at
alleviating the sufferings of his fellow citizens.
He is a role model, an icon for the youth and a humanitarian who
started working for MAHAFA then AFRICAREMEDS as a volunteer
worker and is presently a medical personnel in attending to the
treatment of Nigerian indigents. He has the prospects of acquiring
more medical skills and knowledge to be better placed so as to
put up a good fight against these diseases that are plaguing his
people.
He is a Christian who strongly believes that WHATSOEVER YOU DO
TO THE LEAST OF HIS {JESUS'} BROTHERS, THE SAME YOU YOU DO UNTO
HIM {JESUS}.
